A Day in LA: What to do and see

Although there is no snow, and to say it’s “cold” is truly an exaggeration, here are still heaps of fun things to do in the winter here in LA. Coming to Los Angeles this winter? Below are my favourite spots! Enjoy 😉

1st Stop: Getting Glam

Painted Woman by Kameco – Beverly Hills

This is hands down my favourite spot to be pampered. I mean just look at this place, it’s so glam! The staff will treat you like the princess or prince you truly are. My favourite service is the tropical pedicure; you get to drink champagne out of a pineapple… Yassss.

2nd Stop: Insta Photo Shoot

Pink Paul Smith Wall – West Hollywood

So after you’ve been all glammed up, head over to the pink wall on Melrose for a perfect selfie. This pink wall that is the background to many Instagram pictures and selfies is actually the storefront of Paul Smith. Melrose Avenue is filled with fabulous shops and restaurants, you may even see a few celebrities if you’re lucky!

Madi (@G0ingMad) getting the perfect Instagram picture!

3rd Stop: Lunchtime

Tacos Tu Madre – Westwood

While there are many delicious Mexican restaurants in LA, this one happens to be my favourite. Why? Because red velvet churros. Yes. You read that right. Along with the little red pieces of heaven, they have many delicious and unique taco creations. Check out their Instagram feed to work up an appetite.

4th Stop: Winter Fun… Minus the Winter Weather

ICE at Santa Monica – Santa Monica

Have some winter fun on the outdoor skating rink in Santa Monica, which is only open until January 18th. The Los Angeles skies are still bright and sunny in the winter, so it’s much more fun to be able to do winter activities without freezing!

5th Stop: Post Skate Snacktime

Lady Chocolatt – Santa Monica

After you’ve worked up an appetite, head over to Lady Chocolatt for a tasty treat and a cup of hot cocoa. They have over 300 types of chocolate and many delicious warm beverages. Look at their menu below!

6th Stop: Shopping! Yay!

 Montana Ave – Santa Monica

While the 3rd Street Promenade is filled with larger chain stores, Montana is a street filled with plenty of boutiques and unique stores. There are lots of shops for women, men, and children. My favourite spot on Montana is Christina Lynn.It is the cutest boutique filled with tons of great clothes and accessories. Click HERE for a directory of all stores on Montana.

These are all of my favourite LA spots, but there is tons going on so make sure to check EventBrite!!! They have tickets for tons of great events around the city. You can Sell tickets online to your own event !! Whatever your interests may be, Eventbrite will have an event for you! Later on this month, I’ll be heading to Generation Beauty by Ipsy. Are any of you going? I’d LOVE to see you there!! I’m also thinking of going to LA Cookie Con and Sweets Show… I mean… Yes, I am definitely going to attend! YUM!

I hope you enjoyed my post, if you want any further suggestions, just let me know! Don’t forget to check Eventbrite!
