Beauty Blogger Lauren Will of Lauren's Lip Glossary wearing Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter
I’m wearing the Killawatt Highlighter all over my face and décolleté for this super glowy look.

I was SO shook when I saw the Fenty Beauty caravan at Sephora. Unlike a lot of other celebrity makeup collections, Rihanna’s line has all of the products you need for a flawless face. One of the things that I love about this line, is that there are so many shade options! All my ladies with a deeper skin tone and pale girls like myself will be matched with the perfect colour. 39 shades of foundation, heck yes! Plus, blush pink and iridescent packaging…. Oooh girl, it makes me feel some type of way! I decided to pick up the Killawatt Highlighter, Match Stix Skin Stick, and Cheek Hugging Contour Brush.

Killawatt Highlighter – Lightning Dust and Fire Crystal

I’m always on the hunt for products to make my face/entire existence glowy AF, so the Killawatt Highlighter was a must! These highlighters are not too glittery, they won’t enhance the texture of the skin (often a problem with intense highlighters), and that glow will stay put all day long! In the pan, they may look quite subtle, but honey these give a glow that is anything but low-key. I like using Lightning Dust on the browbone and bridge of the nose where I want a subltle glow. Fire Crystal is perfect for the cheekbones, cupids bow, and tip of the nose to get things super lit.

Cheek-Hugging Highlight Brush

The unique shape and pink bristles were practically calling my name from across the room. I’ve been using this brush a ton and am trying to like it, but I’m just not super thrilled. Perhaps it’s just personal preference, but I feel like a tapered or fan brush does a better job applying highlighter. It does look great on my vanity, but it isn’t really elevating my makeup game. That being said, this brush is very well made and you can really see the quality in the bristles, ferrule, and handle.

Match Stix Skin Stick – Truffle

I have never used a cream contour that I have loved so much in my entire life!!! The texture, blendability, finish, range of shades…. Rihanna killed it! “Truffle” works perfectly on my skin (it has neutral undertones) but they have 20 different shades to choose from, so there is definitely something for everyone. Contouring is all about preference, and I love that you can do a light application or go in a bit heavier without the looking cakey or patchy. Personally, I want my cheekbones to be able to cut a thot right in half, but that’s just me ;).

BadGalRiRi, you’ve truly blown me away and I cannot wait to try out the rest of your line! Have you guys seen the Fenty Beauty holiday collection? Obvi the lipglosses and lipstick are what really got my attention ;), but the eyeshadow palette is also pretty gorg! I’ve seen some swatches of the holiday collection and the colours are to die for.  What do you have your eye on from Fenty Beauty?
