Messy, beachy waves are my fave!
I love that you can make them last for a few days (TYSM dry shampoo) and they doesn’t have to be perfect, the messier the better! Here are 3 ways to get beachy waves.
If you have naturally wavy or curly hair like I do, you have to get your hands on the Kevin Murphy Hair Resort Beach Texturizer. Once I’ve showered and my hair is damp, I use my hands to “scrunch” my curls with the product. It isn’t too sticky and won’t leave your curls crunchy, just soft and beachy AF.
If you’re looking for an affordable option, the Cake Beauty Wave Maker Texturizing Spray is also fab.
You can do this with dry hair, but I find it works best if my hair is a bit damp. Before bed, I pop my hair into two simple braids. It’s a very Pippy Longstocking-esque situation, but literally who cares. In the morning, I wake up with the most gorgeous waves ever. I find the dampness helps the waves stay a little softer.
I’ve had my T3 Interchangeable Wand for years and it gives the best beachy waves! I love that there are 3 interchangable heads so you can always switch is up. To set the waves, I’ve been loving the Tresemme Tres Two hairspray.
