Luscious Locks: Favourite Hair Products

One thing that people have consistently asked me about over the years is my hair. I’ve always had pretty thick, strong hair, but my hair right now is probably the healthiest it’s been in the last five years. I have colored my hair so many different times…blonde to brunette, brunette back to blonde, red….

Yes. That’s me in 2013 with blonde hair, then red hair. What a time to be alive.

I’m sure you can imagine how damaged my hair was from the constant coloring, but let me tell you changing colors after you have dyed your hair red is near impossible (JK, but only kind of). Red fades so quickly and requires such careful maintenance, but somehow it’s still a super hard color to lift or remove from the hair. Long story short, it took me years to finally be free of all redness and I will not be dyeing my hair red ever again. After the tragedy that was my red haired self, I tried so many products/methods to get my hair to grow back quicker. While some of them were totally ineffective (will be posting more on my favorite hair supplements/vitamins later in the week!), I have found a lot of really good products and methods to keep my hair strong and healthy. Read on if you want to know what they are!

I don’t wash my hair every day, so that is where dry shampoo is a major key! My favourite is Khlorane, it is truly the creme de la creme of dry shampoo.

I’ve currently been using the Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner, and I love the way my hair air drys naturally when I use it. The Redken Heavy Cream Treatment makes my hair so incredibly soft, and I only use it about once a week.

When I pop out of the shower I usually put some Hask Monoi Coconut Oil  just on the ends, to keep them hydrated.

If I’m in a rush, I love using the Shu Uemura Time Saving Blow Drying Oil. It makes a serious difference and practically cuts my blow-drying time in half.

I did try the Kardashian Beauty Haircare line and I’m low-key obsessed……. The Pure Glitz Hairspray and the K-Body Volume Mousse are incredible, so those have been some of my go to’s lately.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and let me know what your favorite hair products are below or if you pick up any of my favorites! Later this week I’ll be sharing what I used to make my hair grow SUPER fast and my favorite DIY hair mask.
