Must Have Beauty Tools

There are a few beauty tools that I absolutely cannot live without, they make getting ready so much easier!

Clarisonic Makeup Brush head

Velour Lash Tweezers

I’ve been using this for years and it’s truly my favorite beauty tool of all time. Whenever I have on a heavy face of makeup, I always use my Clarisonic when I cleanse my face to make sure it’s 100% clean. I talk more about how I use it in my Skincare Routine Video. Also, their foundation brush head is a major game-changer for blending out cream contour!  It’s worth noting that the version I have is no longer available… I bought this one in 2013 and it still in perfect condition! I would suggest the Mia 2, which is available at Ulta and Sephora.

I got this lash applicator in the Lash Starter Set and have been obsessed! It grabs the lashes perfect and makes application a total breeze. Plus, they aren’t sharp like regular tweezers so I worry a lot less about stabbing myself in the eye… Oh yes, that’s happened before. Safety first y’all! Available at Sephora.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezers

Tweezerman Dermaplaner
Shu Uemura Lash Curler

Let’s just get one thing out of the way… Technically, the term Dermaplaning refers to a procedure done by a medical professional using a scalpel to remove the layer of dead skin and peach fuzz on the face. Using this at-home tool is not going to give the exact same results as something that occurs in a doctors office. Clearly people were misinformed a lil bit salty, because there are a ton of negative reviews. But personally, I love this tool! It does a great job of exfoliating, it removes 90% of my peachfuzz and makes my skin super smooth. Always make sure to use this with a moisturizer or something to lubricate the skin, don’t apply too much pressure, and avoid the eye area! If you don’t, your skin will be super irritated and raw. Not good! Follow the instructions and you will be oh-so-happy with the results, I promise! Available at Sephora, Ulta, and Nordstrom.

Anastasia Soare is the brow queen, so naturally her tweezers are the best there is. I have had my ABH tweezers for years and have never had to sharpen them. They manage to get even the smallest of hairs out at the root so my brows stay sharp and clean. Every girl has got to have a good pair of tweezers, splurging on a quality pair is so worth the investment. Available at Sephora, Ulta, and Nordstrom.

This is truly the crème de la crème of lash curlers! It’s great for all eye shapes and curls every single lash to perfection. Similar to what I said about tweezers, investing in a quality lash curler is so very worth it. Remember to replace the silicone pad after a while, or else it won’t work quite as well as it did in the beginning. Available at

I’ve talked about this mitt before…. But let me just give you the rundown again. This doesn’t harbour bacteria the way a shower loofah does, which is key! It does an amazing job of exfoliating and can be used wet or dry. Similar to dry brushing, it is great for cellulite, circulation, and gets the lymphatic system going to flush out toxins. Available at
