Even though the weather is getting warmer, I still love a nice hot bath at the end of the day. I figured it’s the perfect time to make some Spring bath goodies. This is my recipe for rose and vanilla bath salts. It’s quick, easy, and so very pretty! To make enough bath salts for you and a friend, you’ll need: 4 cups of epsom salts 4 drops of vanilla essential oil 6 drops of rose essential oil 8-10 rose petalsPut all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor for about 10-15 seconds on the lowest speed and watch the magic happen. You can use any color of roses you like, depending on how you want it to look. I made one batch using pink petals, and another batch using the orange petals, both looked gorgeous alone or mixed together!
Place them in a cute jar, dress it up with some ribbon, and now you have a fancy Springtime soak!
INGREDIENT BENEFITS Epsom Salts – Epsom salts are great for soothing sore muscles and flushing out toxins. They also contain a ton of magnesium. If you suffer from migraines like myself, a good soak with these will give you some relief. Vanilla Essential Oil– The smell of this oil is super relaxing. So take a deep breath, and let the stress melt away. Rose Essential Oil – It’s Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities are amazing, It dramatically reduces the redness of my skin and is super soothing on dry patches or psoriasis.
