I’m quite proud of the fact that while I was at Sephora the other day, I walked out with only two items: my favorite body sunscreen and a new concealer. Truly self control and at its finest, don’t you think? But obviously I swatched and played with a ton of different products! These are some of the skincare and makeup items I sampled and am currently lusting over!
KILLAWATT FOIL FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTER DUO – . swatched all 3 color duos and they’re so incredible creamy, pigmented, and have a gorgeous finish. My personal favorite was the Sand Castle/Mint’d Mojito duo (above), the blue is surprisingly wearable on the cheeks.
IT COSMETICS BYE BYE UNDER EYE CREAM – Cucumber soothes, cools, and de-puffs while the caffeine in the formula helps with dark circles and firms skin. All of the It Cosmetics products have been developed by plastic surgeons, so you know they’re gonna give amazing results.
BEAUTYBLENDER INSTACLEAN SPRAY – I currently have the cinema secrets brush cleaner which works so well and dries really quickly, but I hate that the dye in it stains my brush bristles blue! The Instaclean spray is double the price, but the ingredient’s are a lot cleaner (no dyes or parabens). Plus I do love their liquid cleanser (nothing cleans my sponges/brushes better) so I want to give this a try for sure
TARTE SHADE SHIFTING LIPSTICK – The formula is super moisturizing and nourishing. Some shades are more sheer than others, so you can use them on their own or as a topper over another lipstick. On sale too BTW!
MARC JACOBS COCONUT FANTASY EYESHADOW PALETTE – While I was walking around in Sephora this luxe white and rose gold packaging just screamed my name. The formula is amazing and I love that the palette is simple with just some key, versatile shades that work for any look.
COOLA MINERAL PRIMER – Coola spray sunscreen was actually one of the things I purchased, but obvi I had to peep the whole collection while I was there. Have you guys ever tried a mineral SPF primer? I’m so curious!
MILK LUMINOUS BLUR STICK PRIMER – All of the Milk “sticks” have me quite intrigued. This felt SO smooth on the skin and though it gives a matte finish, the shimmer in it adds a bit of glow.
SUNDAY RILEY CLEAN LONG WEAR FOUNDATION – I absolutely love the skincare from Sunday Riley so I imagine this foundation would be just as fab. The formula doesn’t contain any synthetic fragrance or talc and the shade range is amazing! SR products are at a bit of a higher price-point, but this foundation is only $54 which is actually quite reasonable.
