Shopping for denim is an absolute nightmare. I’ve got strong thighs, wide hips and a big bum. I love my body, but good lord I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in a dressing room where the jeans I’m trying on don’t even make it half way up my thighs. Or, sometimes they’ll fit my thighs, but then they’re baggy AF in the calves which is not a good look. It’s a struggle I’m sure many curvy girls can relate to! I have tried SO many different brands over the years and have finally figured out which ones make denim that is comfortable, flattering, and works for my body.

This line is designed for girls with curves, I’ve done a full blog post on this brand because I’m that obsessed! All of their garments are made in Downtown LA (yay for ethical manufacturing) and are super high quality.

J BRAND HIGH WAISTED SKINNY + LUXE SATEEN JEANS

J Brand can be a bit pricey, but their garments seriously last a lifetime.  I am all about enhancing the booty and the Luxe Sateen pants are really just where it’s at. There is no material that is quite as soft, comfortable, or more bootylicious than J Brand Sateen.

Why I love these jeans so much is because of how soft and stretchy the fabric is. I can jump around and bend all sorts of ways without worrying that they’re going to rip in half right down the crotch. Plus they never lose their shape or get saggy.

Another thing I want to note is that no matter your body type, shopping for jeans is just hard! Always remember it’s not that you don’t fit the jeans, it’s that the jeans don’t fit YOU! You are perfectly fine the way you are and never think you have to change your body because a pair of pants didn’t quite work out. No need for a dressing room sob-sesh girl, you’re cute as you are and that’s that.
