Urban Outfitters Beauty Products

Recently I was shopping with a friend on the 3rd Street Promenade and obviously we made a stop at Urban Outfitters. For those of you who live in LA, you know that it has been SO hot outside lately. After walking around Santa Monica for a couple of hours, I was sticky and sweaty… Trying on clothes was rather unappealing at that moment. Happily I headed towards the Urban Outfitters beauty section and ended up with these lovely goodies. Below are my thoughts on what I purchased.

Mario Badescu A.H.A Body Soap

I had never tried this line of skincare products, but I had seen them in UO and a few other stores. I am usually drawn to products with fancy packaging, but I know that you can never judge a book by its cover. Despite the minimalist look, I picked up this body wash and after reading the ingredients, I knew it was going to be a great product. This body wash is amazing! I use it with my exfoliating bath mitt and it creates a nice foaming lather. This product has a light crisp scent and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel

I have been using this face wash for about a week and I really like it! I usually use Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser, but since moving to LA I have noticed the desert dryness has changed the condition of my skin. This cleansing gel has kept blemishes at bay and is non-foaming so it doesn’t wick my skin of its natural oils and cause dryness. This cleanser doesn’t have an overwhelming fragrance which is great.  I love scented body washes, but for my face I prefer something a little more au natural.

TonyMoly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub

Lip scrubs are something I find so essential in my beauty routine. Lipstick looks so much nicer on smooth and moisturized lips. This lip scrub does an alright job of exfoliating the lips. In my opinion this product is too gentle, I really like my lips to get a good scrubbing. Points for cute packaging, but overall I don’t think I would buy this again.IMG_0990

Cedar + Stone Scrub

On the label, I noticed this is a salt scrub packed with essential oils. I am such a freak for essential oils i LOVE them. I love how they smell and that there are so many ways to use them to redeem their many benefits. The eucalyptus and peppermint oils make this scrub so invigorating. I popped out of the shower feeling smooth and refreshed, the scent and texture of this scrub is a total win.

Holika Holika Heartful Silky Lipstick

When travelling, I love getting different cosmetics from around the globe. Urban Outfitters seems to be bringing in a lot of Korean beauty products, which is cool. This heart shaped lipstick is ultra cute with its light peachy scent and metallic purple packaging. When applied, it glides on smoothly and is ultra moisturizing. I bought this lippie in shade 03 “Young Lady” but I definitely want to purchase more colors. The Urban Outfitters beauty section has so many unique finds!
