Invest in a Vest | OOTD

While I was organizing my closet this week, it occurred to me that I own a ridiculous number of vests! But I’m not complaining, vests are perfect for the transition of seasons, adding a bit of extra warmth, and incorporating different textures. Whenever an outfit looks incomplete, I’ll pop on a vest and 90% of the time it works perfectly to pull the outfit together.

I’m obsessed with suede leggings at the moment and have been wearing them non stop! The alternating faux-fur and suede on the vest coordinates with the leggings without being too matchy-matchy. If the fur wasn’t present, I might end up looking like some sort of weird 80’s cowgirl… Not exactly what I’m going for. These are some of the vests that are currently on my wishlist, I seriously just want them all, but especially that pink number!

Bodysuits have another special place in my heart, they’re just one of those “throw on and go” pieces aka another #LazyGirlSolution! Urban Outfitters is where I purchased the one I’m wearing in these pics, unfortunately, I can’t find that exact fit on their site anymore! But don’t fret, I’ve linked a few other basics below! Many of which are currently in my closets arsenal of basic black bodysuits.Forever 21 is seriously bodysuit paradise, I wear the ribbed V-neck fit all the time. Built-in chokers are the bomb, it means one less jewelry item to struggle to clasp when I’m running out the door. I posted a picture on Instagram wearing my choker bodysuit and I’ve got on another pair of suede leggings, shocker! Just FYI, it’s on sale ;)!

The green leggings and brown tones in the bag and boots are oh-so Autumnal, plus the fur makes the whole outfit feel so cozy.  What has been your go-to outfit lately? Let me know in the comments below!
